Our Aircraft Aftermarket team is looking for a Division IPT Lead to join them. You will report to the Aircraft Engineering Sector Deputy Director and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for the Aftermarket IPT Engineering Lead role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
10 Years of Experience in a technical leadership role
Ability to lead, organize, and influence people managing complex operational issues
Excellent working knowledge of engineering processes, business systems, and an expert in Earned Value Management
Influence decisions in all functions with the Aftermarket Group that impact technical integrity, cost, deliveries, and customer relationship
Ability to travel internationally and domestically 20%
As an Aftermarket IPT Division Lead, you will:
Ensure technical solutions and initiatives are integrated into functional and group objectives, priorities, and technology roadmaps, by aligning with leadership to assess present and future business direction
Support the full lifecycle of the platform, with an emphasis on two areas: 1) ensuring development programs are well-position for deterministic execution with technically sound initial assumptions, risk balancing, and structures in place for change management; and 2) ensuring production or field quality issues are resolved quickly, complying with the terms of the contract(s), and with an eye toward sustaining a positive customer relationship
Maintain accountability to the Sector Engineering Director for adherence to baselined plans from technical, scope, budget, and schedule perspectives. You will be accountable from a technical perspective, for leading and validating Comprehensive-Estimation-at-Complete (CEAC) activities, variance explanations and Return-to-Green (RTG) planning
Ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts are planned successfully, managed through production ramp-up challenges, and sustained through the entire production run
Reduce the potential for production quality issues before they impact a customer and maintaining the customer's confidence in Moog as a critical partner
Provide technical perspective and guidance regarding potential decisions that may have long-term financial or strategic impact. and drive the group's efforts to increase profitability

Salary Range: The base pay range for this opportunity is $127,961.60 - $227,406.40 per year
