Compared to the very focused concepts of the Ninja H2 andNinja ZX-10R, the Ninja ZX-14R’s engine and chassis tuning both contribute to a package that delivers high performance while being easy to ride. To bring the braking performance of the Ninja ZX-14R to the next level, the same type of brake system as that of the Ninja H2R was implemented. The Brembo system includes the best components available for a mass-production model. Special tuning at the Brembo factory ensures that all play has been removed from the system, so that when the brakes are called for, they respond immediately.
Optimised chassis rigidity and idealised suspension settings allow the Ninja ZX-14R to deliver a blend of nimble handling and superb stability. Its extremely well balanced chassis package enables the Ninja ZX-14R to shed its weight as soon as it gets underway. A relaxed, sport riding position makes it easy to become one with the bike. Light, neutral handling is complemented by good chassis feedback, which facilitates sport riding. And, along with the Kawasaki-original aluminium monocoque frame, the suspension’s road holding performance and firm bottoming resistance contribute to sporty handling while ensuring rock steady high-speed stability.

Delivering heady levels of power and strong torque across the rev-range, it can propel the Ninja ZX-14R to its lofty top speed at a very high rate of acceleration. Belying this astounding performance is a surprisingly well-mannered character: gentle low-rpm response makes in-town riding easy. And revisions to the ECU and exhaust for 2016 ensure that strict Euro 4 emissions regulations are cleared – all without sacrificing engine performance.
